Priscilla Fuentes

Lead Vocals, Keys

Front woman Priscilla Fuentes wows audiences with edgy rock vocals and a smooth and soulful R&B vibe. Priscilla has worked with original projects Bound By Blood and Forge The Way. Far From Over was her first band, formed in 2017, performing modern rock covers. She also occasionally works with the local rock cover band One Rebellion.

A singer since around the age of 5, she is a self-taught pianist and guitar player and also played cello between the ages of 10-14. Involved in musical theater in high school, she says being a Thespian during that time truly changed her life.

Some of her notable inspirations early on were Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Boys to Men, and Michael Jackson. She is now most inspired by her partner,Mauricio, her family, and her amazing tribe.

In her teens, Priscilla fell in love with Linkin Park and 3 Doors Down. Pink and Alicia Keys are also influences. She says her love of music is “all over the map”.

“This project is so exciting because of who I get to do it with and how it all began. Getting to work with friends who are in tune with creating change through music and who genuinely care about one another means the world.”

Massive personal loss created an awareness in Priscilla that something was missing in her musical endeavors. This was a challenge that affected her performances. She wanted to feel connected while on stage and believed she was doing a disservice to the crowd if that feeling wasn't there. This realization changed her approach to performing and how she viewed the music community. The band’s trajectory shifted, and it became her mission to develop this project and find the right people to execute it.

She says, “Thru The Void is more than just a band. It is our journey. It is Community, Heart & Soul, Love, and Empowerment. It is resilience, courage, integrity, and collaboration. It’s "Never Too Late" to be fearless in the pursuit of what lights your soul on fire… and pay it forward. Being your own hero can sometimes make you someone else’s hero. What makes this project so special is the very special people integral to its development.”
